I2RR - status
I2RR (Internet2 Routing Registry), not I2db:
- this is only a name change; no change to internal structures or operations
- source attribute is still “I2”: source: I2
problems with support
- considering moving I2RR to I2 site, perhaps UCAID
- need to understand system support needs, IRRd support needs, database support needs
any more volunteers? 6 “early adopters” so far:
- Indiana U, UC Berkeley, OPEN (Oregon), Advanced, GA Tech, U Minnesota (since 29 Jan 01)
