Internet2 Routing Working Group Charter

The Internet2 Routing Working Group (I2rwg) addresses issues broadly related to routing between sites connected to the Internet2 infrastructure. The I2rwg concerns itself with routing within and between Internet2 backbone networks, peer transit networks, gigaPoPs, and campuses; it develops policies and recommends procedures in support of scalable and efficient routing functionality across that scope.

The objective of the I2rwg is to facilitate the deployment and operation of effective routing practices for the delivery of advanced network services to Internet2 members.
